How to upload images?

    Hi, I am new to WordPress, but that doesnt make me feel like any less of an idiot by asking this question. How the heck do I upload images? Can I do it from my admin page, or do I have to do it directly to the server? Thanks.

    In the Write Post area, right underneath the big empty box where you write your entry is a large blue box that says “upload”.

    If you’d tell which version of WP are you using it would make it easier to answer.
    File/image upload has been changed in WP2.x. It is there in the Write section.

    In 1.5.x you go admin > Options > Miscell and check the proper box to allow uploads. A new tab will appear in the admin menu. Follow the instructions there.
