• Hello!

I would like to upload a “coming soon” page that I have designed onto my website whilst I build it. I don’t need any buttons, any sign up area, nothing fancy at all, merely one single page of this image I have made. I have hosting and domain with GoDaddy if that helps to know at all!

Any advice would be really appreciated!

    Thanks

  • Possibly try the Ultimate Coming Soon Page plugin?

Hi Momo, thanks I tried that Plugin but it’s a more complicated than I need. I only need to upload one image so that when people land on my site that’s all they see!

Ok, try this one instead: Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd. You can choose to just enable it and upload the one image and that’s all it will show. ??

Ok wonderful! Thank you! So how do I make the plugin override the theme so that just this page is visible?

I think you need to go to that Plugins settings. So go to your Installed Plugins and find the plugin and click Settings or go to Settings and the plugin name may show up there as well. Then just click enable ‘Coming Soon’. As the administrator you will still be able to see your website as you build it, but if you log out as the administrator and view your website, the Coming Soon page should be visible.
