I want that the box slides in at the bottom of the post BEFORE the comments section (so NOT triggered by a % of the length of the post), I’ve selected the “Element Selector” in the options, but now what ?

I guess I have to add a shortcode (or something like that) in my single.php before the comment section, but I don’t know which code I’ve to add.

    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance

    ciao

    Hi Alexander,

This depends on the element your theme users for the start of the comments section. In most themes, this is ‘#comments’.

You can safely try ‘#comments’ as the element selector. If it’s not working, the plugin will fallback on the percentage you set.

If you have a live URL of your website, I can take a look at your page source so we can know for sure. ??

    Hi Danny,

but WHERE I have to put in “#comments” ?

When I choose “Element Selector” from the dropdown menu the following options keep to be the % box (and it accepts only integers)…

    My site is https://www.strategievincenti.net

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Alexander,

Ah, that explains it. A box should appear, but I guess it isn’t. Which browser are you using and which other plugins are you running? I’ll have to try to replicate the issue so I can fix it.

    Hi Alexander,

Fixed this in version 1.0.4, the box where you can enter the jQuery selector (like #comments) will now appear when you select ‘element selector’ as the trigger point. ??

    Hope that helps!

Yes the new version works great: now the element selector’s option box appears and the box scrolls properly with the “#comments” trigger.

    Thanks a lot !

Great Alexander, glad it works now!

If you have a quick minute, I would really appreciate a review on the plugin. It’s quite new so we have to get the word out for it. ??
