• Good Morning,

I have recently added google adsense adds on my site and with the help official google adsense plugin i have created add too. Now the issue is by this way i am not able to place “Adsense link units ads” (as this is not supported by plugin and i have to insert manually). Could you please tell me where i should put the google add code so that link add displays just below the navigation bar. Currently I am using topbar and footer menu and not the header menu. Also I would be using the link add for both top bar and footer.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Somebody please help.

Is this the same question as your post from a week ago? If so, did you find the Header Ads sidebar? Add a text widget in that sidebar, put your ad code in the widget, and it will show up in the header.

No this is not related to the one I asked in past. I figured it out by adsense plugin of google. But the issue is with that plugin you cannot put Adsense link units ads and that has to be done manually. I looked for some video but since my navigation bar is top bar i am nor able to do so. Can you tell me exact at what section of header.php file i will have to add the code?

Hey bdbrown. I watched the video you linked to above and tried pasting my link ad into my header.php file and nothing showed up. I’m using a Hueman child theme and accessed the parent theme header.php file. Is that why I can’t see the link ads?

The easiest way to put ads in the header is to use the theme Header Ads sidebar. In Theme Options > Header, turn ON Header Ads. Then in Widgets, add a text widget to the Header Ads sidebar, add your code in the widget, and it should show up in the header.

accessed the parent theme header.php file

Not sure if that means you modified the parent header.php file. If so, I would recommend removing the modifications. If you have other changes you want to make, copy the header.php file to your child theme and modify that copy.

I erased the modifications I did to the header.php file.

I found how to add the link add in my child theme. Here’s a link to see what I did.

    Thanks for the help!
