How to use another captcha with this form

Hi There,

We’ve been having a lot of trouble using this plugin on WP Engine servers when it comes to getting the captcha to work.

It is sad because this is an amazing plugin, and they are an amazing hosting company. I wish the two would work together.

I read on your site why you don’t want to use reCaptcha.

We won’t have more than one form on a page (I don’t see why most people would need this anyway). Can you at least lead us in the right direction of what we can do to get another Captcha working with your plugin?

This is what I recently found out from a support team member at WP Engine:

“One thing I’d like to mention prior to going into details of the fix is that the Captcha portion of this plugin is on our Disallowed Plugins list here: https://wpengine.com/support/disallowed-plugins/

As it’s not being installed as its own standalone instance our system is not automatically removed but as it utilizes the same captcha as si-captcha-for-wordpress it is not natively compatible with our platform and officially, unsupported.

The primary reason for this is that every hit to the captcha goes to Apache – Should the site be the target of a brute-force or spam attack in the future this will negatively impact the entire server and potentially cause downtime. I’d highly recommend looking into alternative captcha solutions with your developers such as Google’s NoCaptcha ReCaptcha. It allows for an easier user experience but may take a bit of development work to integrate with your site.”

Do you know of a solution here? I really would not like to switch plugins, or hosts.
