How to use Custom Icons?

  • I am using wordpress on a 1&1 as a Managed installation. I have tried to follow your FAQ instructions on how to use Custom Icons, but the process fails at the point where you say to go to the “Widget Control Panel (Admin -> Appearance -> Widgets)” and look for “Custom Icons”. There is no such option to choose from in the widgets list.

    Yes, I have “Social Media Icons installed and activated. It is actually in use in other areas on my site. All I want is a custom FACEBOOK icon. All of your icons are one letter icons like “F”. I need a custom icon that is actually the word “FACEBOOK”. I have the icon and it is named “facebook.png. I just can’t figure out how to get your widget to access it. Thanks for the help.
