    Hello,

First of all, thanks for great plugin!
I cannot find a way to start using Custom Options.

My idea is to create few back-end option sets with different sub-options which will be used in many different products as a base of constants with its values.

Lets consider imaginary example of selling jewellery.
You can have many jewellery products, but price of all of them will depend on few constant options like type and size of diamonds. If I’d like to change every single product one by one, it would be very time consuming…

I wanted to use CPO option as a base with default values however I don’t know how to use them and how to insert reference to these options inside products.

Can you explain it to me?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi. Thanks.

I will try to explain you how to use our plugin.

    1. You need to create options. For example you can use radio option module https://joxi.ru/n2Ya9VOCoPPxy2 or select option module. Don’t forget to add suboption to the module https://joxi.ru/BA00EWRFJ33OGA and save it to database. Same to another option https://joxi.ru/brR59pYSJPPejA https://joxi.ru/eAOY9NDcxPPYNm In these tabs you can set some styles to the options https://joxi.ru/E2p1y9bt9LLWYA
    2. On general setting you need to enable plugin https://joxi.ru/D2PY908cpPP3oA
    3. Go to main formula and set it https://joxi.ru/Y2LY9Ekc9PP0aA
When you go to your product page you will get something like this https://joxi.ru/ZrJY90pc9PPXnA

Let’s talk about price calculation. You can see that I have added price/rate value for each suboption.
    Type – round – 1.10
    Size – 0.2 carat – 1.1
So if we select these suboption we will get
    100$ * 1.10 * 1.1 = 121$

As for other products you can import existing options in 3 click. https://joxi.ru/BA00EWRFJ33LRA But you have to set main formula for each product https://joxi.ru/v29PBnNu3aa1Mm

All this you can add using lite version of the plugin. In pro version you will be able to use more powerful functionality. For example you will be able to add images for suboptions https://joxi.ru/V2VL9gYhxPP10r using image type of item of radio option module https://joxi.ru/D2PY908cpPPMqA And you will get something like this https://joxi.ru/823xBK5hJL0n1A options in the form of an image. Also you will be able to use import custom options from one product to another https://joxi.ru/zANY9jkcBP9Jb2 I mean all options, settings including general settings, main formula, NOV settings, weight setting etc.

Maybe you want to add something like global non option variable?

    Hi,

Thanks for reply and sorry for delay… I’m preparing b-day party for my little princess… ??

Yes, something like global variable… rate card or price list… whatever its name is…
Some list of items with values (prices) which can be used by formulas to calculate complete price of product as well as presented separately…
I’ve tried to add few CPO options from main menu, however I cannot refer to it in formulas… How can this be done?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi. You have to create options via CPO builder mode and save them to DB. And than you can import these options to another product.

I’ve done everything as you suggested, however there are 2 issues, which I cannot solve…

    1. I’ve created new option via CPO builder and it’s being presented well. When I’m trying to create new and use Sync functionality, it appears in builder mode, however it’s not visible in “live” mode… product does not consist of any cpo options..
    2. Is there an option to preview all of the options with its suboptions and values created in such way? How to easily edit them when I want to do for instance monthly/yearly price review? I thought that CPO options category visible on woocommerce dashboard will be responsible for that however there are my options but without suboptions/values

    Best Regards!
