How to Use Custom Shortcodes on Ad Content Field/Box

Hi,
I’ve created a Custom Shortcode that retrieves a custom field.
Shortcode usage is just [getaffid].I added the shortcode in the ad’s Content field/box but it just renders it as regular text.
How do I make it work?
