How to use email as username?

    We want to use email as the username during user registration. I don’t have username in my field yet it appears on my form.

    How to remove username from the registration form and use email as the username by default?

    I meant to say I didn’t add a username field in the form builder but I see it in the form. But the main point is that I just want to use email as the username for user registrations.

    Hi,

    Username field is optional, if you have removed username field from form settings and it’s still showing on registration form than it might be cache issue. Please try remove cache and deactivate any cache plugin installed.
