How to use folders with download items inside?

You can use this shortcode [wpdm_tree category="category-slug"]. It will create a folder for each category. You need to install the following free add-on also to make the shortcode work.

It is not possible to link tree view shortcode with datatable shortcode, but we have alternative layouts with a premium add-on, you may check here:

Okey thanks! Question that add-on has folders on the left, but what about having folders that upon click display the contents like this, and not as a sidebar

However, you can use this add on to achieve like this.
