How to use "Global content blocks" with "Front end editor"?

Hi all. I am using both of the above plugins. Ideally the front end editor would display the button to select/create global content blocks on the front end. However front end editor seems to be overriding global content blocks. Global content blocks are only available from the dashboard post edit page. Is there a way I can get the functionality of global content blocks in the front end editor?
