  • @jankiiahir thanks for your inquiry!

What are you looking to achieve? Are you trying to encourage indexing for Google search?

    Hello Renee Johnson,

thank you for quick reply, for indexing webpage i’m using google indexing api, it’s working fine for me.. i want to cache my amp page by google cache, thats why i reached at AMP URL API, but i don’t know how is it works..

please guide me how to use that API with AMP and wordpress ?

    Thank you..

@jankiiahir thanks for your reply. The API itself is not a mechanism to cache AMP pages on the Google AMP cache. Essentially it provides a way to retrieve AMP and AMP cache URLs to use in your content. It works independently of the plugin.

Read more about what the API does and how to use it in the documentation.

Since your pages are successfully being indexed, the plugin automatically places a link to your AMP pages in the source code of your canonical pages. Making them discoverable by supported platforms and then added to the AMP cache. In your case, once the Googlebot has crawled the pages of your site the corresponding valid AMP pages are added to the Google AMP cache. Read more about how AMP pages are cached.
