How to use graphic buttons for the navigation??

  • Can anyone tell me how to use graphic buttons on the main navigation rather than the standard text buttons? I have seen it on a couple of wordpress sites but have found no documentation on it.

  • After the menu is generated, every menu item has a unique ID. You can style the items with css background-images uniquely.

    Where do I find the IDs so I know how to reference them?

    I made a page before that explains how to do that. Here is the link I even put a few examples of the CSS to make it work. Hope it helps.

    Great tutorial… only thing I have to add is that you can also use the “Web Developer” Add-on for Firefox.
