I tried to use the free premium account but was told that I was not approved. I do have a website security plugin with a firewall — I guess that must be the problem although Mailpoet was not specific. I like the plugin and will use it with my host mail service. However, it’s not clear how to proceed. Should I delete the premium plugin? Should I reinstall the base plugin and reinstall? I assume I don’t need an authentication code since I will not be using the mailpoet sending service — is that correct? Do I even need an online Mailpoet account?
I am totally at a loss what to do and there are no instructions for this situation that I can find.

    Hi @ralbeck,

Sorry to hear that. If your subscription hasn’t been approved, it means you won’t be able to use our own sending service, but you can still use the plugin.

To set up a different sending method, please refer to this article: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/135-the-send-with-tab

If you have already installed the Premium plugin, you will have access to the premium features for now, but won’t get access to updates if you remove the activation key or if it’s no longer valid.

Let us know if you need any further assistance!
