How to use Menu Options in galleries

    How can I use the menu options within a structure of categories. I defined the top category and two sub-categories. I set Menu to Show and Root label to Show, but only the top category (All) shows up. All pictures are shows, but without the labels. How can I get the filter labels as in your free-polaroid-gallery-1 ?
