How to use more tag in converting MT linklog to WP linklog

I am trying to convert my MT linklog (https://midnight.thebishop.net/) to a WP linklog. I have gotten as far as https://midnight.twjb.com.

However, with MovableType was able to make the titles of the post link to the thing that I was posting to. I used the Body field in the admin interaface to add the url of the item I was linking to, and used the Extended text field for the text of post. Then I used the MT template tags for those two items to make the Title of my post also a hyperlink to item I was linking to.

Is there a way to do something similar in WordPress? Is there a template tag that is the content of the body up until the more tag?

Also, is there a way to modify the admin interface so that the text before the ‘<!–more–>’ is a seperate field from the text after the ‘<!–more–>’
