How to use my own Lightbox?

To use your own Lightbox simply disable CataBlog’s Lightbox and add whatever appropriate HTML markup your Lightbox needs to the CataBlog Template you are using.

I cant do it, can you give me an example?

I am not familiar with the Lighbox plugin you are using, but something like this usually works. Pay special attention to the rel attribute of the anchor tag.

Hi.

If I disable the lightbox in Catablog, I am successful with using WP Lightbox 2 plugin, but I don’t know how to get the description info in Catablog items to show in that case.

On this page each item has a description and a buy button.

Hi, the gallery template has the proper tokens. I don’t use WP Lightbox 2 plugin. So I can’t really help you with this.

However there has to a be a way for you can call CataBlog token in WP Lightbox 2 plugin.

You should be able to set a selector or some kind of markup requirement for lightbox 2 to work with an image. I recommend enabling both catablog lightbox and lightbox 2 and setting it so that lightbox 2 ignores catablog items. I am not sure how to do this off the top of my head, since I am not familiar with lightbox 2, but I am sure it is possible.
