How to use search description in wordpress posts

Hi i have recently came from blogger i have dont know how to enter the search description in posts.

I mean there is a search description option in blogger posts in post editor..?

I have heard some where that yoast plugin will do this.

But iam confused about that the plugin will do only the blog title description or also the post search description of wordpress posts ……? i mean in google search engine our posts should have some 150 characters description how can we customize that unlike by default….?
