• Hi! I have install the plugin and I like it a lot.
But I cannot get how to use properly secondary title in permalink. I put a different structure in permalink like %secondary_title%.%postname% but WordPress didn’t display the secondary title and gave error. Can you help me show both secondary title and main title in permalink? Thanks!

    Try this:

    – Enable the plugin.
    – Go to Setting > Secondary Title.
    – Chose “Yes, use custom permalink structure.” at the very bottom of the page.
    – Go to Settings > Permalinks.
    – Chose “Custom Structure” and use %secondary_title% to display wherever you want the secondary title to be.
    – Hit “Save Changes”.

Now the permalink of the posts should contain the secondary title. I just did it exactly as written and it worked.

Hi! Thanks for the answer. The idea is that I want to use in permalink both secondary title and main title. What should I put in Permalink settings in Custom Structure?

You could use %postname%-%secondary_title. Or /%secondary_title%/%postname%/. Unfortunately, /%postname%/%secondary_title%/ will give you a 404 error. It’s a bit tricky to fix.

Hi! Thanks! Can I use something like /%secondary_title%.%postname%/ or /%secondary_title%:%postname%/ or /%secondary_title%-%postname%/

At this point this structure leads to a 404 page. I’ll be working on it to see what I can do. But unfortunately I can’t promise anything; Permalinks are just a pain in the ass.
