Is there a way we can use Series and Subjects in shortcodes? I mean, shouldn’t we have something like:

    [book-reviews series=series-slug]

to list all books in a series?

    or

    [book-reviews subject=subject-slug]

I can’t find any reference at the shortcode notes about how to use those fields as filters when display book reviews…

    Am I missing something?

Those are both normal WordPress taxonomies, which means you get archive pages for those things for free (without needing a shortcode) by going to yourdomain.com/series/your-series-slug/ or yourdomain.com/subject/your-subect-slug, e.g. https://book-review-library.dev/series/wordpress-is-awesome-series/

I can add in a shortcode for that as well, but you’d never get the permalinks to look as pretty as with the native WordPress archive pages.

    Now it’s clear, Chris, thanks.

You might want to add that explanation to the FAQ or somewhere else just in case somebody comes out with the same doubt ??
