Sorry for rookie questions. Fantastic Plugin btw so thank you. I am using thesis and would like to be able to edit author box so I can separate it from the main post simply so I can have a box around it like in this blog:

    https://rayhigdon.com/7-ways-to-know-they-are-not-right-for-your-mlm-team/

I created a widget/(text/html box in thesis template) and just want to be able to call the social author box into that widget and then i can edit border and background from there but don’t know how to do it. Not sure how to do it tried different things changing trh [] to <> but would really appreciate the help.

Or any help on how to separate/managing plugins from post content so they can be boxed in different backgrounds.

    Thank you!

There are several plugins on here that will allow you to use any shortcode in a sidebar (widget). Just do a search for shortcode widget.

Next, enable the shortcode option in my plugin settings page. Then you can put the [social-bio] shortcode in the widget.

You will have to adjust the HTML and style which can be done from the Advanced HTML/Style settings page of Social Author Bio settings.

If you do this please send me the modified HTML and style.

I’ll certainly consider building that functionality directly into my plugin in a future version.

    Nick
