Also… Could someone please suggest me a part of code and tell me where to include it in order for the link in the footer (proudly powered by WP) to be opened in a new window?

Thanks again for your answers to this and my previous post!

linkfr, Can you download the latest version of the plugin and install?
There will be one template available to edit and make the changes.

Hi there sandyr, thanks for your answer!

I just network deactivated first and then deleted the plugin to reinstall it again (version 1.0 they say).

    But i’m afraid nothing changed?

I still have no options to edit, save or delete the template as in the video.

I tried to update the template after modifying the sidebar size as a test it and got this message again: Template ID Must Not Be Blank.

Am i doing something wrong? Anyother clues?

    Hi,
Identified the issue. There was a bug in one of the earlier versions. I am working on a permanent fix.

Meanwhile, you can do the following:
Go to your database, wordpress options table (wp_options if your table prefix is wp_)
Search for the following entry impact_installed. You can either delete this or set the value as 0.

Take the latest impact plugin and reinstall. It will fix your problem.

    Hi there,

I just did it, i changed the option_value to 0 instead of 1 and clicked on Executer instead of Reinitialiser les valeurs.

Then i deactivated Impact plugin and deleted it. I reinstalled it again (impact 1.0) and tried to modify the template’s sidebar width. This time i got this message:

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in /homepages/35/d406052963/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/impact-template-editor/lib/functions/impact-templates.php on line 158

I got the same message after the second try, this is after deleting instead of simply modifying impact_installed…

Am i getting something wrong? Any clues?

Here’s the full message – i still see no options for editing, saving or deleting the template as in the video:

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay. We have corrected the issue. Please do follwing –

    1. Go to your database, wordpress options table (wp_options if your table prefix is wp_) Search for the following entry impact_installed. You can either delete this or set the value as 0. Also delete tables impact_templates & impact_hooks

    2. Take the latest impact plugin and reinstall. It will fix problem.

    Hi pallavi.chanodia,

I just followed your advice and deleted the entry impact_installed. I found no other entries such as impact_templates & impact_hooks. I only found instead an entry impact_version 1.5 and i deleted it.

I’m afraid i’ve got several tables wp_, wp1_, wp2_ because i’ve got several sites (?). Anyway, i went into each of them (i.e. wp2_options) and deleted the only impact entry i found every time: impact_version.

As soon as i entered my dashboard, i was taken into MySite > Impact > Template Builder proposing me to update it. I went into Plugins, networkd deactivated it and delete it.

I installed it again from the dashboard (version 1.0: “https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/impact-template-editor.zip…”) and activated it…

    But the problem persists.

I’ve got no options for editing, saving or deleting the template as in the video but only the option to update the template. I click on it after modifying for instance the sidebar width and get this message: “Template ID Must Not Be Blank”.

For this updated plugin to work, you need to delete the previous tables. The tables impact_templates & impact_hooks, will have some prefix (wp_ or wp1_). If your table prefix is wp_, then try to find out wp_impact_templates and wp_impact_hooks.

Also with this version, only 1 template is provided which you can change as per your needs and update it. For advanced usage of creating unlimited templates and exporting importing the templates and settings, you can use the Impactpagebuilder plugin.

Last time i deleted all impact tables i found (only impact_installed) in each wp_options i have (wp_, wp1_, wp2_…).

I just went in again and found nothing anywhere but only in the main place (wp_). I found there these two: impact_installed and impact_version

I also took a look everywhere (wp_, wp1_, wp2_…) to look for entries such as wp_impact_templates or wp_impact_hooks but there was nothing… (after wp_dlm, for example, there are entries such as wp_social or xmlgm, so i for impact is skipped).

    pallavi

    (@pallavichanodia)

impact_installed & impact_version are records which you can find in wp_options table (if your table prefix is wp_). Delete those entries or set its value to ‘0’.

wp_impact_templates & wp_impact_hooks are tables in your wordpress database. If these tables are already deleted then install this plugin and test. If still problem persist, let us know your online login details. We will check this problem.

    Hi again,

I’d appreciate to have your help if you can have a look at my installation but i wouldnt like to post my login details on the forum.

As far as i can see – i’m sure – such wp_impact_templates & wp_impact_hooks tables dont exist – not to say never existed – in my wordpress database.

    (@pallavichanodia)

If tables doesn’t exist, please impact-template-editor again. If still its not working, please send login details and ftp details if possible on [email protected]
