How to use the list-bookmarks tag (or how to make a list of links easily)

  • I’m trying to make a page that just lists links I’ve set up in the links page. The page headed “Function Reference/wp list bookmarks” seems to be what I want, but I don’t understand how to insert the tag (or any of the example tags) into a page and make it list links.

    For example, I’ve inserted “<?php wp_list_bookmarks(‘title_li=&category_before=&category_after=’); ?>” into what seems like the right place in a new page tempate. But when I make a page with that template, I get no links.

    Isn’t there some EASY way to make a list of links/bookmarks?

  • Try using the parameter categorize=0 in your call to wp_list_bookmarks:

    <?php wp_list_bookmarks('title_li=&categorize=0'); ?>
