How to use the variables.

  • Great plug in so far, but I’m not sure how to use the variables or if they are necessary to use.
    For the ‘retrieve password’ for instance it instructs
    “Please be sure to include the variable %reseturl% or else the user will not be able to recover their password! If any field is left empty, the default will be used instead.”
    But I’m not sure how or where to put the variable or what they are all for. Do they go in the ‘Message’ field, or the ‘To’ field or where?

    ALso, one more items. The ‘edit profile’ now seems to be limited to activity logs. Is there a way to turn that back on so that passwords can be changed from there as before, in addition to adding profile information?

    The variables would go in the message field. If you’re not familiar with the default emails, I suggest you don’t customize them yet and do some testing to see how they look.
