How to use the_excerpt

  • I am trying to figure out how to get my blog to display the excerpt field content. I have scoured the codex as well as this forum and whilst there are lots of leads none of them actually specify which file requires editing.

  • Where do you need to display the excerpt content?

    You will have to edit the index.php , archive.php , category.php files in your theme
