How to use this plugin outside content() in custom template

Hi,

tks for your work and your great plugin !

I’ve created my own template,
I would like to know how I can use your plugin around the the_post_thumbnail() function for instance,
is there a way to do that ?
may be by adding some attribute to link to the fullwidth image, but i can’t find the solution,

something like < a href=”link to fullsize thumbnail”>
<?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>
< /a >
