There are instructions for use with WP Rocket, and I tried to do the same with W3 Total Cache, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right.

Also, does it matter if I’m using using custom domain for how to exclude the JS?

Hi! We haven’t had any reports on issues with W3 Total Cache. Our script is cached by us directly too so it does not need to be cached. What issue do you encounter? How does our snippet look like when you view the source of your site?

The custom domain setting you see in the current version of our plugin is no longer recommended as adblockers have started crawling the web looking for them. We aim to release the proxy by default in the next version of our plugin as explained here https://plausible.io/docs/proxy/introduction

Ok. I just installed the Plausible plugin the other day. The first day it reported 8 visitors in a few hours (seems normal) and then none after that.

So I thought maybe the caching was the issue. W3 has the option to exclude certain scripts from the Minify option, that was what I was trying to do.

I now disabled custom domain and it reports visitors again, so I think that was causing the error instead.
