Can you supply us with screenshots please of what you’re referring to @akpae5 Thanks.

Also, make sure the actual my account page is chosen in the backend settings of Woo.

    Hello @akpae5,

It sounds like you’ve successfully added the Customers Account Block to your page, but clicking the “My account” link isn’t taking you to the correct page where you can view order details.

Typically, the “My Account” link should direct your customers to the WooCommerce “My Account” page, automatically generated when you install WooCommerce.

As suggested by @serafinnyc, it seems like the link may not be pointing to the correct “My Account” page, or there is a possibility that the standard WooCommerce endpoints aren’t set up correctly.

    Here’s what you can do:

    1. Ensure you have the correct “My Account” page set up in WooCommerce. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced in your WordPress dashboard to check this. Make sure the ‘My Account Page’ option is set to the page where you want to display the customer orders and details.
    2. If you have the correct page selected, please check that all the WooCommerce endpoints are correctly configured on the “My Account” page. These endpoints are essential for showing different sections like orders, downloads, and account details.
    3. If any changes are made, save and refresh your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and simply clicking ‘Save Changes’.

By following these steps, your “My Account” link should correctly display the customer order details. If you’re still encountering any difficulties, please take a screenshot of the screen with the page setup under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced. You can use a screenshot-sharing software like?https://snipboard.io/?and paste the direct link here.

    I hope this helps.

Hi again @akpae5 we need to see the backend of the page too. It doesn’t appear to have the actual block on it. Know what I mean?

Does the block have this in it in the backend?
    [woocommerce_my_account]

I just ran a test on my demo site using the gutenberg block. I wouldn’t use Customer Account. I think that’s probably for something else. I would use the shortcode block and then add that shortcode I gave you and you’ll see it.

    Hi @akpae5

Just to clear things up, the Customer account block is used to let your customers log in and out of their accounts in your store. However, it doesn’t display other details such as orders, payments, addresses, etc. It used to add a button to log into customer accounts on the header or somewhere else like the cart icon.

As the best and standard way, we recommend using the shortcode to create a “My Account” page which should show customer account details like orders, payments etc.

You can find more information here: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/page-shortcodes/#my-account

I hope this provides some clarity. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Hello, I appreciate you guys response s, thanks for the clarification about woocommerce customers account block, right from the time I installed woocommerce customers account shortcode is working. But due to some unwanted text that shown in the customers account page that’s why I wanted to use the customer account block in the hope that I can use it to remove those text, but unfortunately it doesn’t work as expected, now I will use the customer account shortcode back. In my website I had disabled shipping in woocommerce settings area but the customer account page still keep talking about shipping. Please how can I remove or replace it with something else the text that said (From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses, and edit your password and account details) in the customer account page?

    Hey, @akpae5!

Do you mind sharing a screenshot of exactly what you want to remove from the my account page? I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hello, this is exactly what I wanted to remove, I’m not selling products online but I wanted to use woocommerce to collect payment for something else please see Screenshot below thank you.

    Hey, @akpae5!

    Thanks for clarifying!

While it is not possible to edit this by default, you can achieve this with other plugins or custom code.

You can use a plugin such as My Account Page Editor, which if you buy from out marketplace, we provide support for it and you have a 30-day money back guarantee to test it.

If you want to check other options, you can search for “woocommerce my account page editor“, or something similar, on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

If you rather use custom code, while we also can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
