• Please see [GitHub issue #20658](https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/20658) for full details.

I find it hard to believe this due to a conflict with the theme or another plugin, though accept it’s possible. Most likely it’s because it’s been edited over time with different versions of Elementor, and imported/exported with All-In-One WP Migration, and something has gone awry in the data for the footer, such that editing it with the current version (rather than whatever previous version it was created with) no longer works as it should.

I cannot reproduce the problem on my localhost copy. And I cannot disable plugins in a live environment to try to isolate the problem.

Now, since the issue has occurred, the problem element (icon list) is no longer visible in the editor (it does not appear in the Navigator), even though I did not save the changes. Yet it still appears in the footer when viewing the page.

In order to track down the problem, and what caused it, I need to access whatever pseudo-markup is used to represent the content for Elementor. With the WordPress Block Editor, this is possible, because WordPress provides an option to edit the markup as raw text (which includes lots of HTML/XML comments storing editing information about the blocks). But with Elementor, the editor has been replaced with a button ‘Edit with Elementor’, and the underlying markup has been obfuscated.

I have one simple question: how can I view and edit the underlying markup?

  • Hi,Since you are an Elementor Pro user, you can open a support ticket at my.elementor.com.

I’d also suggest you check out our Elementor Community forum, we have created it to connect Elementor users together and share knowledge, my.elementor.com.

www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

I am unable to access support at my.elementor.com, because I am not the person who set up Elementor on our website. It was done by a third party, contracted for some design work, with whom we are no longer in contact.

It seems we are stuck in limboland:

    • We cannot get help via GitHub because your team refuse to accept there is a bug.
    • We cannot get help here due to WordPress’s rules.
    • We cannot get help via your Pro support site because we did not directly purchase the Pro version.

We appear to have fallen through the cracks. How can we get support for this issue?

Also, would not the same issue apply to the free version, in which case you would be able provide support on this forum?

    Please advise how to proceed.

Also, we do not apparently have Elementor Pro anyway.

All incarnations of the website have ‘Go Pro’ or similar in the Elementor menu on the WordPress dashboard.

Would you please answer the original question here?

Any danger of a further response to this?

We do not have Elementor Pro, therefore this is the correct forum for support.

I’d rather not have to reverse-engineer your software, but cannot wait forever for a response to what should be a fairly straightforward question, and one that other users may have too.

    PLEASE RESPOND.
