    Your required template:

    – WordPress up to date? Yes
    – NextGEN up to date? Yes
    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61) Just installed, no upgrade.

(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? 5.0
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? 5.3
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yes
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? Yes

Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? fatcow
    – What theme are you running? Zenzero
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Huge IT Image Gallery, Huge IT Portfolio Gallery, Jetpack by WordPress.com, MOJO Marketplace, W3 Total Cache.
    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (please be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) This is not a theme or other plugin issue.

The issue: How can I reuse an image already uploaded via NextGEN Gallery for ANOTHER NextGEN Gallery? Since I can not see what I’ve uploaded via NextGEN Gallery, I can’t review what I’ve uploaded or select for reuse an image already uploaded.

How can this be resolved by NextGEN?

@stbedesantafe – The simplest method of using an image in one NextGEN Gallery in another NextGEN Gallery is to use the “Copy to…” option under the Bulk Actions for the originating gallery. See Gallery > Manage Galleries … click on gallery to edit.

    Thank you for the reply.

This may be the simplest method for one or two images. But I have hundreds of images in many galleries. I have to search every current gallery (which are initially established by my client in chronological order based on when a series or group of paintings was completed) for every image I want in a new gallery (such as paintings which will be on display at an exhibition or in an art gallery) and “Copy to” each of them individually.

It would be much easier to view a library of images and select the ones I want to place in the new gallery.

@stbedesantafe – You may also be able to use strategically named “tags” in each image and then display your galleries based on “Tags” versus specific gallery ID … you know best what you are trying to accomplish so it may take some experimentation to accomplish these goals.
