All you have to do is make your images wide screen.

On the sample I made, I use a 1600×600 image. In other words, You need a rectangular image instead a square one assuming this theme is responsive and will set image width to 100% and if you have a square image it will get too much height like it’s happening to you…

    Wonderful…I will try that now

I changed the pic format but they are still too large for the home page. It takes away from the content. i am hoping when the links get back online they will show how to scale down the size/ make it adjustable if we dont want huge pics. I prefer half the size. Instead of 1600×600 maybe 800×400
    is that possible?

It is but it will make you image stretch too much and lost quality on big screens.

Ok, thank you. Let me know if you change this feature in the future

Even if I change, the theme width is 1024px, if you put a image with only 800px width like you said, it will not fill well, do you understand what I mean?

This branding slider take the whole screen to fill nice. So you need at least a image with 1280px (most of people resolution)… So there is no magic in it, you need to crop your images like I said if you don’t want to have that issue.

    ok

Is there a way to put my “About Me” section on the front page? It doesn’t seem to be letting me add it.

What exactly would be a about me section? Can you be more specific?

Like a static page on the front. I love the sliders, but I really want something at the bottom saying a little bit about me. Right now it only says it at the bottom of posts that I make.

We have widgets on the front page, look it:

Just add something going to Appearence >> Widgets

I think klynn2020 wants the <h1> text to be visible. Currently if you have the static front page enabled the theme doesn’t allow you to do that. Don’t Engine robots prioritize visible information in <h1> format? Do you have a work around for allowing <h1> information to show?

Great work Jose. Awesome theme but i have some issues with it.
If i activate the theme i cannot edit style.css – nothing shows up, further more if i try to edit anything when i press the button update i get routed to a blank page.
Even si i try to enable a plugin the same thing happens – i get routed to blank
Other themes are fine, so i guess it has something to do with it, i dunno…

I’m no php specialist, but could you tell me how to make images wider in posts? I have great photos and i want them bigger to show. What i have to modify.

Thank you and keep up the good work it’s really a stuning looking theme

    Update
If i could make the images show in posts with the width of standard size + width of sidebar it would make my day.

    mmaacc,

I am not sure if I understood what you want to.

Do you want to remove the sidebar to make posts page full-width?

If that is your question, no you can’t do it. You only can do it for single page.
