Strange I post that the problem was that my members can’t received a new password. I looked at all the threads and one was post about 3-4 years ago with the same problem. I assumed that things had changed and the answer would no longer be the right answer, since a lot has change in three years.
I left my URL. It’s not an adult site, nor is it a racist site. or anything like that.

I follow all your guidelines. This is the first time I ever asked for any help. So I’m mystified as to how to get an answer to a simple question.

I guess my problem is only important me.

    Thanks anyway, Richard

The support forums are “staffed” by volunteers, all with different levels of expertise, who offer their free time to support thousands of users here. Just because your questions hasn’t been answered in an hour (you posted this an hour after you original question), doesn’t mean that it isn’t important.

I responded with a suggestion regarding your original question:

Update: And, your “original question” is actual a duplicate of a previous question, where a moderator was helping you four hours before you posted this. You must have forgotten about that one:

Believe it or not I’m aware that the forum is staff by volunteers. However I think it’s rude to tell someone to go learn how to ask a question instead of answering the original question especially. If the question was answer four hours before I asked.

The thing to do was provide a link, simple. Not tell me to go learn how to ask a question.

It’s easy to forget something you have never seen. But I’m not as slick as you Macman. I asked a question after hours of searching the forum for an answer and days of resetting passwords manually.

Moderators do have a lot of knowledge , no doubt. However knowledge can be a downfall, it makes you condescending and self absorbed. It’s a power thing I guess that goings with immaturity.

This was the first time I ever asked a question in your kingdom. I should have been more humble, more patient.

Knowledge is king you know, how does it feel? Like a rolling stone?

With all that said …thank you.

However I think it’s rude to tell someone to go learn how to ask a question instead of answering the original question especially

point out where that was said or even implied by macmanx – he was very polite

    this is ridiculously rude
I agree with the patience part – you started a whining thread after only an hour
    Get A Grip

edit – I’m sort of wondering why this thread hasn’t been deleted?
