How to..create larger navigation links

I’m using the free traction theme to create a website for work..
but I have a problem. I want the navigation links (on the blue line) to be spread out along the line, instead of floating to the left. I don’t just want them centered though, I need the links themselves to be longer. I know the code that needs to be changed in the stylesheet, but I’m not sure what to change it to. I tried to just add spaces to my navigation title, but that didn’t work.
