How unique visitors are determined ?

    Hi,

    On our extra/intranet, WP is viewed with RDP (remote desktop) and each visitor have the same IP.

    So how visitor and visite works ? There’s a lot of visites (6000 for the month) but we are only 150 employees. Moreover, if I cumulate visites for all pages, I’m far as 6000. What’s the problem ?

    If you all come from the same IP address then your only going to have a sinlge “visitor”.

    Each page hit is added to the visits total so for 150 users over a month that seems fine.

    Ok, thanks. It will be great to identify a visitor with a cookie or other technique different from IP.
