How unpack sgbp file.

SGBP format is our own archive format. At this moment there’s no software for unpacking it, but we can provide you the public PHP script which aims to extract SGBP archives. The mentioned script you can find here: https://backup-guard.com/tools/extractor/. Just upload it on your server and put the archive in the same directory. Run the script and you’ll see the instruction you should follow to get it extracted.

the extractor file not working if sgbp file is version 3, and extractor app only exists for mac and windows but not for linux (ubuntu)

We just updated the php script mentioned above which is supposed to extract plugin generated archives. Desktop application doesn’t suppose to extract archives generated by plugin. We have another platform for offsite backups (Cloud Backup Service) and the desktop version extracts archives generated by service, but not by plugin at this moment.

Note: Here you’ll always find the latest version of extractor which aims to extract archives generated by the latest up to date Backup Guard plugin (https://backup-guard.com/tools/extractor/). If you need older versions (e.g. v2), you can download it like https://backup-guard.com/tools/extractor/?v=2.
