• Hi kishanranawat,
I am trying to see how this plugin is put together because I want to use it on another site. I am the admin on this site.

    On this page:
    https://juliekblog.com/subscribe-to-julies-blog/
We have a subscibe form, but in the pluging interface I cannot see where it was created. Here is the HTML:

    <span class=”medium-text”>Sign Up: </span>
To be notified of future Blog posts, please provide your name and email address in the fields below.

    <span class=”medium-text”>Confirm Email Address:</span>
When you receive the “Confirm subscription” email, please click on the link in the body of the email to confirm your email address. You will then receive a confirmation email.

    • <span class=”medium-text”>Note:</span> If you do not receive the “Confirm subscription” email, please check your spam folder.

    [email-subscribers namefield=”YES” desc=”” group=”Public”]

    Thanks so much!
    George

    Hello George,

    Thank you for contacting us.

On the site, it looks like currently the form is displayed using an older approach. In this approach, no form is created in the backend. Instead, you can directly use the shortcode to display the form.

But due to it’s limitations, we have added a new approach to display the form. In the new approach, you can create a form first in the backend, and configure it according to your requirements and show it using the shortcode. The form can be created and edited from the dashboard menu Email Subscribers –> Forms.

You can read more about both approaches from here.

Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Thank you.

    Hi kishanranawat,
I just configured the plugin on a new site (https://carlabrennan.com/) and I’m wondering why the new subscriber confirmation email, or the email to subscribers after posting a new post, takes so long, upwards of 20 minutes to arrive in the inbox?

Love the plugin! Thanks for your help.
    George

    Hi George,

We have checked the confirmation email-related issue on your site. In our testing, it seems to be working as expected and the email was received immediately after subscribing. Can you please confirm the issue once again?

In the free version, the plugin uses WordPress cron to send emails. To run scheduled jobs on time, WordPress cron needs regular site traffic.

In case there isn’t regular traffic on the site, then WordPress cron won’t be running on time and therefore there can be some delay in sending emails. To avoid this you can set up a cron on your server. You can refer to our documentation cron in cPanel and Plesk.

Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Thank you.
