How would I go about adding a subscription only area

  • How would I add a paying subscription area for clients on my current wordpress?
    Broken down I would like this:
    Client enters webpage.
    Wants to access certain content.
    Needs to subscribe and pay with credit/debit card.
    Client is then either sent an email with password to said content or its all done automatically.

    Could really use some help on this.

    There are a number of plugins to handle this. Start by looking at “members”.

    As Steve says, most membership plugins do this.
    Paid Memberships Pro(free), Ultimate membership Pro, Ultimate Member, Buddypress, etc etc. There are free and premium and all pretty much do this. The difference is really about ease of setting up content restriction, some systems make it easier to set up or manage.
