I am glad that the most problems with advanced column solved with the 2.01 update from Spectra. But i want to know howto easily tranform the advanced depreciated column to the new called Container.

There is a function in WordPress editor to do that but if i use that the 2 column change to 1 column and i see no option to change that?

    Greetings Marcel

  • Not sure why the plugin made such drastic changes without notification that we would need to migrate several block types.

Yes @evit its a disaster but i have replaced a backup from yesterday and i will wait for a better solution from brainstorm.

    Hello @mbitswebcontent and @evit ,

We have created a video for you, please have a look.

If you still face any issues, please open a support ticket from here.

    I hope that helps.

Do you plan to actually document this process? How do I find every instance of this across a site with 100’s of pages? Do I open every page and click on all blocks and then convert them… UGH

@evit Its not only converting them its redesigning them too because those blocks behave different then before im gonna wait what they will change otherwise i will look elsewhere for the same functions.

If you have 50 or 100 websites with those blocks thats alot of work and who is that gonna pay all that time.

    Hello @mbitswebcontent,

There is a new release of Spectra 2.0.3 that has fixed the issues that came up with the lastest updates. Please update to Spectra version 2.0.3 . After updating, please be sure to regenerate the assets. We do this automatically after the plugin is updated, but just to be sure, go to “Spectra > Settings > Asset Generation > Regenerate Assets” and press the button.

Also, empty cache and hard reload while on the editor screen. Here’s how: https://share.bsf.io/2NumNvZ2.

    Regards.
