HPOS is specific to customer orders. Markup-by-Attribute changes the pricing of the product variations on the database, before the customer sees them. So, there aren’t any compatibility or support issues.

In fact, I’m currently testing compatibility with WordPress 6.4 and WooCommerce 8.2.1, and I haven’t seen any issues. (HPOS was introduced with WooCommerce 7.1, and made default on October 10, 2023).

    Thanks for the reply.

I only mentioned it because under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features > Order data storage, it lists this plugin as incompatible.

    Crap.

Thanks for calling this to my attention. I’m looking into it right now.

By now, you should be receiving version 3.11.3 of Markup-by-Attribute. Plugin developers have to add code to our plugins to declare compatibility with HPOS. Being a part-time developer/full-time retired guy, I was not aware of this.

Because I was already testing for WordPress 6.4 (due out soon), I added the HPOS declaration, fully enabled HPOS (no “compatibility mode”), and retested. Everything continues to function well, so I pushed the code out.

Thanks, again, for calling this to my attention.
