• Hi,

After installing PolyLang I’ve noticed hreflang meta tags are added for all languages, even for pages I didn’t yet translate.
Is it possible to have the hreflang tags added only after a translation is available to that page?

    Thanks,
    Yariv

It seems there were translations to this page that were permanently deleted. Perhaps Polylang somehow still has reference to these pages? Inside the page’s edit page all languages appear with a plus, so it seems Polylang does realize there are no translations.

I removed these meta tags using pll_rel_hreflang_attributes as a temporary solution, but I do need those tags to appear on pages that do have translations.

    Hello,

Polylang cannot show hreflang to translations which don’t exist or which have been deleted. Maybe a cache issue?

Cache was cleared. Translations don’t exist, not in trash. But the page has hreflang tags:
