HT ACCESS: Can you take a peak at mine? Not working

  • Good Morning,

    I have my index.php sitting out of the WP folder and I have my .htaccess sitting in my server root.

    This (I think) causes my .htaccess file not to work. Where should the .htaccess file site for my set-up? It automatically writes to server root it I update permalinks.

    Could you have a look and see if anything is wrong?

    Thanks for that Matthew,

    It wasn’t my problem. That hos now been fixed thanks to MacManx. He found that the plugin Elegant Categories was screwing with permamlinks.

    I will email plugin developer very soon.

    When your having problems always disable all your plugins first.
