htacces fil

Hi, I was trying to get the permalinks to work using “%postname%”., but I get an error saying that the file isn’t “writable” and that I need to add some code to my .htaccess file.

I did some research and understand a little about htaccess, but I don’t know where to place the .htaccess file on my server. Currently, this file does not exist, but I will create it.

Can someone tell me where to place this file?
