• Hello

Sorry of this has been answered but i cant find it anywhere ??

I have set up a wordpress 2.7 blog with Permalinks set to th custom structure of

    /%category%/%postname%/

I have created a category called ‘static’ that i wish to use for static ‘pages’ created via posts, the reason for this is i want to tag certain pages.

Everything is working well and i get a url like: /static/about/

However what i really want is a url like: /about/

Is there a simple mod-reqrite rule that i can put in .htaccess which will redirect /about/ to /static/about/ ?

thanks in advance, i feel a dullard!
