• Hi all !

I cannot access to my admin recently,

I tried the usual fixing solutions but it seems that it is a htaccess file that broke everything, but I tried to delete it, to change it, and nothing works,

the latest message I have is :

Options FollowSymLinks and SymLinksIfOwnerMatch are both off, so the RewriteRule directive is also forbidden due to its similar ability to circumvent directory restrictions : /var/www/html/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/wp-admin/

I tried decomenting the +FollowSymLinks, and adding aline for SymLinksIfOwnerMatch just bellow but it does not fix my problem..

Has it happend for anyone ? how do you fix the htaccess from here?

    thank you very much

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

yes @wpninjatech, that is the problem,

the site is there, everything sould be working fine but i cannot access my admin

It looks like your website or webserver are offline.
    I cannot access any of:

    https://217.160.165.83/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/wp-admin
    https://217.160.165.83/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/readme.html
    https://217.160.165.83/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/index.php
    https://217.160.165.83/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/robots.txt

Get a basic html file accessible then start getting WordPress going.

    Hi @rossmitchell,

    the website is not offline,
There is just a probleme with the htaccess that does not allow me to connect to the admin.

As i said before the probleme is the following :

Options FollowSymLinks and SymLinksIfOwnerMatch are both off, so the RewriteRule directive is also forbidden due to its similar ability to circumvent directory restrictions : /var/www/html/styl-pack/components/com_wordpress/wp/wp-admin/

I decommented the FollowSymLinks option and added manualy the SymLinksIfOwnerMatch line but I am not sure of the placement cuz it does not work.

    thank you tho

Try to rename your .htaccess to OLD.htaccess
