Htaccess Directory Index Issue

  • Hello:

    I needed to point myself to a special index.html page, so I added the following my htaccess: DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm default.htm index.php

    This works great. The problem however is that now when I go to log in to my WP installation: https://mysite.com/wp/wp-admin, I am directed to that index.html I mentioned.

    How can I write the htaccess so that I can have the direction to the index.html, but still access my WP admin? Thanks.
