• Hi,

I encountered an error after upgrading the plugin, prompting to change the ownership and/or permissions of my htaccess file.

I changed the ownership and when I went back to the WP admin section for W3 Total Cache, the error disappeared.

I compared my htaccess file with the one I had backed up prior to the upgrade and the updated version is missing a bunch of lines.

I noticed that https://mysite.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=w3tc_install includes htaccess code. It does not match up with my updated .htaccess

Would it be safe to say that the W3 Total Cache installation page htaccess code is the one to use? (i.e., I can replace my updated .htaccess file’s W3 Total Cache code with the code from the installation page)?

    Thanks in advance.
