.htaccess file missing

    Hi,

    Is it OK that I don’t have a .htaccess file on my wordpress?
    If not, how to create one?

  • WordPress will create one automatically for you when/if you set up a custom permalink structure via Admin/Settings/Permalink – assuming you have the appropriate permissions set on the wp-content directory.

    Well, I already set up a custom permalink structure and I don’t see the .htaccess

    If you’re checking via FTP, make sure that your FTP client is configured to show all files. Some clients are configured, by default, to filter displayed the file list.
