• When I try and activate caching, WordFence does not seem to be able to locate .htaccess. I get the following error:

Wordfence could not edit your .htaccess code. The error was: Could not read from /var/www/html/website/releases/20150317135235/web/wp//.htaccess

I don’t know where that double slash is coming from…

    • .htaccess does exist
    • .htaccess is readable – it’s current set to 777 for testing

    Am I doing something wrong?

As an addendum, I’m using Bedrock with Capistrano deployments, hence the /releases/ directory structure. Everything is deployed and linked up correctly, other than WordFence not finding .htaccess.
