• Hi,

Whenever I update the plugin the .htaccess file is not updated, which means any updates coming to the plugin is not in use before I manually disable the plugin and enable it again.

    Shouldn’t this be happening automatically?

Hello @thomasduerlund , thank you for downloading the Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP plugin. I am ANDREA and I will help you with your request.

Can you give me some more information about WordPress version, if you use plugin update restrictions is if automatic updates are automatic for our plugin?

I thank you for your answers so I can verify and do some internal testing

    best regards

Hi @thomasduerlund , thanks for the feedback I double-checked the processing I had done for the problem the stable version at the moment is 5.0.18 I have effects several changes by listening to user feedback.

I have also performed a test and I detect the automatic htaccess update.

I ask you having now version 5.0.18 if the next version you still notice the problem update ticket, I ask you if the .htaccess file there are restrictions ?

Hi @thomasduerlund, I have released version 5.0.20. In order for the changes to take effect, I recommend that you uninstall and delete the previous version (-5.0.19) and install the new version + 5.0.20 so that the automatic changes in the upcoming versions will take effect.

This update implements several fixes of issues that have been reported in this topic and a similar topic to yours. I thank you epr for the feedback and availability ??

For any information or help please do not hesitate to contact me, I am here to help you in the best possible way.

    best regards

    Hi Andrea,

There’s still issues with the plugin. Updated a few days ago and it only updates some of the .htaccess file while leaving the rest with stuff from previous version.
