• Hi guys, I’m new to htaccess file and creating better looking links, hoping someone can help?

I have pages with pagination in the following format:

    https://www.mysite.com/mytransactions/?pg=2
    https://www.mysite.com/mytransactions/?pg=3

And am trying to get them to look like

    https://www.mysite.com/mytransactions/2
    https://www.mysite.com/mytransactions/3

    Hope someone can advise.

    Thanks!

  • Go to Settings -> Permalinks in the admin and chose your preferred URL format. This should update your .htaccess file with the required code automatically. If it doesn’t (For whatever reason) it should give you some code to copy/paste into the file.

I have done that and it works for my posts, but my above example is for a page I have coded myself.

    Thanks

If the settings -> Permalinks page doesn’t help I don’t know what else to suggest. Off the top of my head I don’t think this can be done.
